Duncan Luke IS BACK!
"International Lawyer Bryan puts his professional experience to good use in his engrossing first novel . . . Readers will root for the sympathetic Duncan [Luke] as he morphs into a more grounded version of James Bond or Jason Bourne."
"Very evocative, very descriptive" . . . Grey Bryan is not afraid to take on "hot political topics."

Readers and Readings ... enjoying BIG
My thanks goes out to the readers of BIG: Beginnings many of whom wrote from as far away as Japan, Australia and England and from as near as down the hall to tell me of their delight in getting to know Duncan and Ghislaine, Rob and M.D., Ward and Gracie, and, of course, Sam. You are what makes writing the BIG stories worthwhile!
I wrote the first draft of BIG: Crisis while Beginnings was being edited. I had worked on several oil deals in West Africa and decided to use that setting to examine corruption in the international energy business in emerging markets from many different perspectives: that of a brash entrepreneur, that of the head of a local NGO, that of an American investment banker looking for a profitable deal to keep her business afloat, and that of an business intelligence consultant trying to do the right thing for his client.
I hope you will enjoy Crisis and join the BIG conspiracy, one in which I enjoy writing the stories as much as I hope you enjoy reading them; a joint conspiracy that allows both of us to give life to the BIG characters. If you do, please share BIG with your friends in person or on social media and post a review (or two!) for, as I write in my Note at the end of Crisis, the objective of this conspiracy is to share the wealth, not run away with it.
Greyson Bryan is an international lawyer and longtime resident of Los Angeles. He earned his BA from Stanford and a JD from Harvard. He taught at Harvard Law School and UCLA and is an expert in the field of business intelligence. BIG: Beginnings is his first novel.

BIG: Crisis begins as the Arab Spring ignites. Duncan Luke is back as the head of the newly created Bingham Intelligence Group, working with the frustrating and beguiling Ghislaine Bingham.
Once again, Duncan is fighting for a life with his son while battling Ghislaine over the danger he sees lurking in an African oil investment that is essential to the survival of her company and his own ability to win shared custody.
Ghislaine, now chairperson of Bingham International Group, struggles to keep the Bingham International Group under her control while preserving its integrity. A third character, Ismail Abu Salah, is a mysterious French-Libyan banker who offers to help Bingham - for a price.
London, Paris, a tiny West African island nation and the violent beginnings of global conflict take center stage as Duncan must once again set out on a trek around the world to help Ghislaine while his relationship with Sam hangs in the balance.
For BIG: Beginnings
"What if you could read a book that had the page-turning pace of a Grisham novel but with the intricacies and international complications of Le Carre? Well, look no further. Greyson Bryan's BIG is an international thriller [series] with complex, compelling characters and surprises around every turn."
--Richard Kletter, film and tv writer
and adjunct professor at USC's School of Cinematic Arts (Read the article in the Century City Review.)
